Leonard Jackson

Regional Manager

Leonard Jackson has spent his career supporting individuals, teams and communities through his work in the public sector and for First Nations, building culturally relevant support systems within both Corrections and Secondary School environments. Most recently, Leonard was responsible for creating and implementing Aborginal programs through the Ministry of the Attorney General within the Kamloops Regional Correctional Centre. Prior to this, Leonard worked as a drug and alcohol counselor for the Lower Nicola Indian Band and the Simpcw First Nation, following several years working in the Terrace Correctional Centre and with Kamloops Court Services.

Leonard was born and raised in Clearwater, BC and is a member of the Saddle Lake Indian Band of Goodfish Lake, Alberta. He holds a Human Service Workers Certificate, Corrections Program Certificate, and an undergraduate degree in Social Work – all obtained through Thompson Rivers University.

Leonard is a father of one and will be married this summer. He is an avid fastball and hockey player and enjoys spending time with immediate and extended family.

Ed Asp

For Ed Asp, prospecting and trapping is a way of life. His father was a placer miner (placer is a deposit of sand and gravel containing valuable metals such as gold, tin or diamonds) and it felt right that Ed would follow in his father's footsteps, prospecting and trapping to support his family.
